Marel released Q1 results.

S&P downgraded the Icelandic banks on weaker business prospects.

The CBI will begin buying Treasury bonds in the secondary market at the beginning of May.

Statistics Iceland released short-term indicators for tourism.

Landsvirkjun decided on dividend payments for 2019.

Icelandair Group is preparing for an extended period where operations are expected to remain at a minimum level.

The week ahead

On Friday, Statistics Iceland will release CPI numbers for April. We expect a 0.1% increase between months and for headline inflation to decrease from 2.1% to 1.9%.
